Entry guidelines

How to Enter:

1. Like and follow the Yokohama Tyre Malaysia Facebook page.
2. Find and complete the crossword puzzle posted on our Facebook page.
3. Submit a photo or screenshot of your completed crossword in the comments of the contest post.
4. Tag 3 friends
5. Include the following hashtags in your comment #YokohamaMerdekaContest #YokohamaTyre #EveryTreadMatters

Judging

Selection of Winners:

1. 30 winners will be chosen based on the correctness of their answers.
2. In case of a tie, the winners will be selected based on who posted their entry the earliest.

Prizes

Prizes: 30 Yokohama T-shirts (one for each winner)

Announcement of winners

1. Winners will be notified by direct message & reply in the comment.
2. The results of “Yokohama Merdeka Extravaganza Giveaway” are scheduled to be announced on the 3rd week of September 2024.

Reminders

1. Multiple Submissions: Participants may submit multiple entries. However, only one prize will be awarded per person.
2. Eligibility of Family Members: Family members of employees of Yokohama Tyre Sales Malaysia are not eligible to participate.
3. Privacy of Information: Any personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for contest purposes and will not be shared with third parties.
4. Non-Transferability of Prizes: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or transferred to any third party.

Usage Purposes:

1. Notification and Results: To notify participants of the contest judging and results.
2. Prize Distribution: To send supplementary prizes by mail to winners.
3. Surveys and Analysis: To conduct surveys for improving the contest and for anonymous statistical analysis for marketing and other purposes.
4. Contest Management: To ensure the fair and safe conduct of the contest, under adequate safeguards.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties:
   • Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties except for sharing with contractors necessary for conducting the contest.
   • Any disclosure will be within the necessary scope of contest operations and only with the participant’s consent.
6. Contracted Services: Personal information may be provided to a company contracted to manage and handle personal information, which will have adequate safeguards in place
