How do I enter the contest?
To participate, eligible contestants must follow these steps:
Step 1: Purchase at least 2 units of 18” or larger tyres from any Yokohama dealer. (1 receipt = 1 entry).
Step 2: Send your full name, NRIC number, car plate number, car model, and a photo of the receipt via WhatsApp to 016-2053390. The receipt photo must clearly show the products, sizes, outlet name, and purchase date. Ensure the photo meets clarity standards – blurry images will not be accepted and will lead to disqualification.
Step 3: Like and follow Yokohama Tyre Malaysia on Facebook and Instagram (@yokohamatyre_my). Share the “Every Tread Matters: Win Big with Yokohama Contest” post pinned on the pages.
What are the eligibility requirements?
The contest is open to all Malaysian residents, except the following groups:
- Employees of the organizer (and affiliates) and their immediate family members (children, parents, siblings, spouses).
- Representatives, employees, or agents of the organizer’s advertising/promotion service providers, and their immediate family members.
For participants under 18, parental consent is required.
What is the deadline for submitting my entry?
The contest runs from 12:00 AM on 1 December 2024 to 11:59 PM on 31 January 2025. The organizer may alter the contest period at their discretion. Entries with a purchase date outside of this period will be disqualified.
How will the winners be selected?
Winners will be selected randomly via a computer system, and their identity will be verified by the organizer. If the winner cannot be contacted, they will be disqualified, and a new winner will be chosen. Grand prize winners will be selected at random from eligible entries each week. Winners will be announced 3-4 days after the week ends on Yokohama Tyre Malaysia’s social media channels.
What are the prizes and how will they be awarded?
Grand Prize: Apple iPhone 16 Plus 128 GB
Weekly Prizes: RM100 Touch ‘n Go eWallet for each week
What format should my entry be in?
The receipt photo must clearly show the following:
- The products and sizes purchased
- The outlet name
- The purchase date
The photo must meet the clarity standards; any blurry or unclear images will be disqualified.
Will I be notified if I win?
Yes, winners will be contacted via WhatsApp for prize collection arrangements. If the winner cannot be contacted after three attempts, they will be disqualified. Winners must provide the original receipt for verification. Prizes must be collected within 30 days, or they will be forfeited.
